Early Education
Classes in Early Education are taught in the language of the section.
The core content of the Early Education curriculum consists of four areas:
Me and my body – Me as a person – Me and the others – Me and the world.
These four areas are based on the physical, psychological, social, cognitive and emotional development of children.
Every area has three dimensions, learning to be, learning to live with others, learning to do and to know.
All European Schools follow the harmonised programmes, with exception of the LI programme. The harmonised programmes are identical and subject to the same assessment requirements. These programmes are updated and supervised by the Education Inspectors of the member countries in charge of the European Schools.
